Join Wayne on a trophy Peacock Bass Fishing trip into the heart of the Amazon watershed in Brazil. This fly in trip to the Unini River is undoubtedly to one of the best trophy Peacock Bass water in the world. When conditions are right, the chance to catch a 20lb plus Peacock Bass is very good and virtually guarantees that you will catch multiple fish over 10lbs. Most of the Unini River is clear black water, not colored , the waters are under fished. We stay in a floating hotel, far from civilization. The guides, food, accommodations and fishing boats are excellent.
This a serious fishing camp for serious fisherman. Ten of us will meet in Miami and fly to Manous, Brazil for a ten day trip that can only be described as spectacular. The area is full of hidden lakes, and unlimited miles of fishing water. It is very possible that an all tackle world record Peacock Bass swims in the waters we will fish.
“If you have never fished for Peacock Bass then you are missing one of the great game fish on the planet. I have fished for virtually every major game fish in the United States, Canada, the Bahamas, and Central America. and I can honestly say that fishing for giant Peacock Bass using conventional Largemouth Bass fishing tackle is the most exciting light tackle fishing I have ever experienced. ”
Wayne will show you why he says, "in clear water, or water with reasonable visibility, when fished properly, the Banjo Minnow will out fish any other artificial lure in existence today." Wayne invites you to bring all your traditional Peacock lures and the opportunity to prove him wrong. The fishing is fantastic, the setting spectacular, and you've got the guy who promised you it all, right at the dinner table every night if it isn't true.
